Our goal is to assist the client in developing a security system which is cost-effective and meets the clients needs. SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS specializes in the following types of consulting services.

Evaluate Risks, Site Survey & Project Analysis: In this phase, the precise nature of risks will be evaluated by conducting personnel interviews, site surveys and project analysis, as needed, for our client.

Planning: Planning includes identifying or clarifying need (e.g., what is the client trying to protect and why), establishing protection goals (e.g., prioritizing needs and quantifying consequences of system failure), and defining potential adversaries. Part of the planning process is to assist the security organization in defining their contribution to the "bottom-line".

Recommendations: During the in-depth analysis of the project and/or facilities, the evaluated needs, and management's requirements are determined. Followed by a Conceptual Design Recommendations Report .

Security Systems Analysis: Systems analysis requires defining the capabilities of the protective system including both the "typical" security components (barriers, alarms, and response) and the protection provided by operational procedures and safety requirements. The ability of the system to protect the client's assets is analyzed against the defined potential adversary.

Security Systems Design: Can encompass a full range of options including the development of plans (including cad) and specifications for alarm, assessment and access control systems; CCTV Systems, proposal review; monitoring the installation and acceptance testing of these systems. SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS personnel are very familiar with the security product marketplace and the strengths and weaknesses of a wide range of security products (e.g., intrusion detection sensors, access control devices/systems, CCTV, locks, etc.)

Plans & Specifications: When needed SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS can develop Security or Fire Plans & Specifications for your company or Architect. The successful completion of the Project Analysis will result in a Final Conceptual Design that will enable SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS to prepare Final System Specifications and Construction Documents.

Systems Implementation: Qualify the vendors, evaluate the bids, insure the biders meet the contract requirements, Assist with Contractor selection and Negotiation. Help with the issuance of contract to succesful bidder.

Implementation Support: Oversee the systems installation work and interface with contractors. Assist in Compliance Supervision, Conformance Testing, Performance Testing, System test and check-out, System acceptance, Maintenance Contract Development.

Training: SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS personnel are experienced in developing criterion referenced training programs, founded on a needs analysis which encompasses regulatory requirements, task analysis and other criteria specified by the client. These programs can take several forms ranging from seminars to self-paced "home-studies".

Performance Testing: The lack of an organized performance testing or quality assurance program is often the greatest weakness of most security programs. This needs to be addressed in order to ensure long-term performance SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS has designed and implemented integrated programs to ensure the protective systems are either functioning as planned or to identify areas needing further attention.

Policy and Procedure Development: SECURITY & FIRE CONSULTANTS personnel have extensive experience in defining policy and developing procedures to meet the client's needs in a cost-effective manner.
